Last year’s winner of the IPL trophy, Sunrisers Hyderabad has omitted only 6 players from the last year’s team. They have retained most of the players from the last year’s playing XI during the course of the tournament. There is no major concerns for Sunrisers Hyderabad going into the tournament as all of their players are fit and ready to play. Although they have one concern:
He is set to miss the first match against Bangalore as he is currently in Sri Lanka with Bangladesh cricket team. He will join the team on 7th of April before Hyderabad’s 2nd match. However, he said that he may not play full tournament for his franchise because of Bangladesh cricket team’s tight schedule ahead.
So the only concern for Sunrisers is the participation of Mustafizur Rahman and how many matches he is going to play. The franchise roped in two pacers in Ben Laughlin and Chris Jordan as backups for the left arm pacer.
Overall, Sunrisers are all good to go as they are without any injury concern, have a balanced side with a good variety of batting and bowling and would be one of the favorites to win the trophy again.
